Entry requirements

How familiar do I need to be with Jungian psychology or with Jungian and archetypal studies before entering onto one of the courses?

It is expected that students will enter the program with varying degrees of knowledge about Jungian Psychology. For students with less familiarity with Jungian Psychology, our admissions advisors can make some recommendations of books to begin to read, and we may explore this with you as well at the interview stage.

Entry requirements vary depending on the training you wish to pursue.

The following will give an indication of what the pre-requisites are for each course. However, please note this list is meant as a general guide and is not necessarily exhaustive.

If you have some, but not all of the following, please contact admissions to discuss your application.

For all the courses, we are interested in candidates who demonstrate at interview and in their application form that they have: self-awareness and are able to reflect upon their life experience, an ability to cope with the emotional and academic demands of the course, an ability to work in groups, a commitment to anti-discriminatory practice, a wiliness to receive and use feedback well, and an ability to engage in personal development and self-learning.
